Trying out a new thing with my photography. Not giving up on wedding photography, I love that too!! But I have always wanted to sell large prints of my nature shots, and here they are! YAY!

30 day photo challenge

So I decided I wanted to challenge myself to taking a photo or few each day for the next 30 days. I want to just try and find new ideas, new lighting tricks, and to just keep myself shooting regularly. This as you can see is a little glimpse into the life of my boys at home. As you can see never a dull moment. :) Gotta love boys!
 

It makes my heart so happy to see Daniel playing again, he had taken a break and I was just waiting to see what God wanted to do.  Personally I think he was born to play.  He is saying that the desire seems to have come back! :)

What a precious couple! I had such a nice time capturing all the special moments through out this wonderful day. Marlene was such a kind and gentle bride, she was absolutely stunning in her very unique and exquisite gown. I completely loved her hair and hair piece.  Thank you Marlene and Zane for the privilege of shooting your wedding. I can't wait to show you the rest!

Weddings! Weddings! Weddings!

I did my first vendor exhibit at David's Bridal on Friday it was lovely.  A few other vendors from the Eugene Oregon area gathered to show their lovely exhibits and share their delicious treats! We had Party Lites, Mary Kay, Valley River Inn, A DJ, Market of Choice, A great bakery and restaurant from Venetta, Edible Arrangements, and even a minister!  I of course was there as the local Wedding Photographer! It was a great time for connecting mainly with local vendors, I am thankful for the opportunity and I met a bunch of great people!

 Again and again I am reminded of the value of relationships, it's a part of all of our lives!

I love my Boys!

 It comes in quite handy to have 4 adorable and handsome boys, to practice on!  My youngest Joel is SO expressive, he loves to make faces and then asks me to show him on my LCD screen. He's a joy.  My husband is rather patient as well.  God has blessed me with 3 amazing sons, and I have begun to recognize something that wasn't always clear to me, and that I quite frankly didn't agree with...and that is BOYS are very different from girls! And that's the way God meant to do it. :)  I kinda always thought my brothers were supposed to be more like me.  Sorry brothers, I hope you have forgiven me.

Nature - A peek into spring

Nature makes me soooo happy.  When I am feeling down or trapped, or my vision is too big for my abilities, or I just got rejected, or a plan didn't go as "planned," I find that when I take a walk and just get outside of everything that seems to be pushing me down, I am reminded as I look up and see: HE IS SO MUCH BIGGER THAN ME!!! Phewwww, praise God, I really can't do it with out Him.
