Aaron and Bri Waldrop- Denver Colorado

 Preparations, as the excitement builds... Aaron and Bri met on a cruise, what a story, so fairy tale like.  I personally love cruising, so I would be stoked to see that that may be in our future if that's where I met my man.  Anyway, he noticed her one evening and came up to her to tell her that he wanted to buy her a drink sometime, at the same time his friend sat down next to Bri and her friends..."OK I guess I'll buy you a drink now."  Later on when he and his friends were gonna hang out he gave Bri his number because they planned to meetup on the cruise again.  Well he kept her number and called her a month or so later and asked if he could come see her a state away.  And you can figure out the rest...I love love stories.  :)

 My niece was visiting from California, and I realized we had nothing to do at that moment and I wanted more practice with doing children photography. I also have finally started to find the freedom to edit as if I were painting a picture, with my own touch.  I didn't recognize that I had been holding back thinking I needed my photos to follow the "rules" of other's opinions, or other photography teachers who had taught me differently. So this was officially my first editing session where I really did it all according to how I like it, not how I "should" be doing it. :)  It was so much fun!

Weddings weddings and more weddings

I have been excited to be doing more weddings lately. I have my first "traveling" wedding in August. I am seriously looking forward to it.  I am praying protection over all my equipment, flights, etc... I think that's pretty much the only thing I am feeling nervous about, someone's big day depending solely on me to capture these memories in a one time shot, and if anything goes wrong with the equipment aaaaahhhhhh!!!!! But I love how the more weddings and photo shoots I do the more comfortable I feel each time. More free to express myself  through my photos more creativity flowing, nerves chilling out. It's wonderful! :)

Engagement Photos

Aaron and Bri soon 2B Waldrop! So exciting! I really liked shooting this couple they were so sweet and playful and willing to do whatever I asked (hee hee). I am definitely learning more about poses and lighting it's just getting better and better! :) Can't wait to shoot their wedding. What a good looking couple they make my work look great ;) And wouldn't you agree, he looks just like Bruce Willis!

Head Shots for an audition

 This was so much fun, and such a great turn out. Chyanne's Aunt contacted me last minute and said they needed some headshots for a modeling audition and could I help..Well of course! This girl was just a natural, you would have no idea that she was FREEEEEEZING this cold saturday morn. :) Great job Chy!
