Discouraged...a little ;)

I know it's probably not very businesslike to blog about your discouragement, but I also want to be realistic. So I wanted to explain why I hadn't blogged for a while. First of all we found out the exciting news, that we have a new little LIFE on it's way! I am only 7 weeks along, but feeling all the symptoms, emotions, tiredness (can't live with out my nap!), not much motivation to do anything, except clean the house (barely) make 2 meals a day (thank goodness for cereal for breakfast) get through the day with out biting anyone's head off.

Therefore, I haven't felt much motivation to blog either, which I feel bad about, but see that I just need to make time for it. So I am back and hope to stay on track. :)

Things Take Time

I know there is a tendency to think that things should just happen ASAP! I used to be one of those thinkers. Well I am learning that sometimes things just take time. As much as I don't like that, there is value in that. Relationships take time, starting a business takes time, the right pose takes time, talent takes time to learn, experience takes time, gaining the right connections, reading a book, training your children, I could go on and on...(except that would take too much time hee hee ;))

A fun mentoring session with ANP photography

I had the privilege of working with Anne Nunn and Jaymie Starr as Anne taught us some basics of photography and the business side of photography.  It was great fun! And such a joy.  I walked away from the session thinking, "Wow what a different perspective, to support each other and not be in competition with one another." I felt so supported and not alone, it felt wonderful.  So much how the kingdom is run, way to bring heaven to earth Anne and Jaymie! Thanks girls!

This little darling got to watch us from in the house the whole time.

These are the lovely: Cienna and Elise what fun little gals

Mercy Ruth the Great! (portrait session)

Mercy Ruth is a beautiful young lady.  Full of spunk and tons of personality.  She is super sensitive and thoughtful yet so full of life.  What a lovely young woman.  I am excited to see all that God has in store for this bright eyed wonder!
I love you my darling niece!

Aunty Jessica
I was so excited when I saw she brought her gorgeous violin! Such a talented girl.

Loved this whimsical little path

I love my Boys!

It comes in quite handy to have 4 adorable and handsome boys, to practice on!  My youngest Joel is SO expressive, he loves to make faces and then asks me to show him on my LCD screen. He's a joy.  My husband is rather patient as well.  God has blessed me with 3 amazing sons, and I have begun to recognize something that wasn't always clear to me, and that I quite frankly didn't agree with...and that is BOYS are very different from girls! And that's the way God meant to do it. :)  I kinda always thought my brothers were supposed to be more like me.  Sorry brothers, I hope you have forgiven me.
